Virgin Games' 1993 platformer is the one collectors mean when they say "Aladdin" — cel animation by Disney artists in-house, fluid movement, and a combat system that set it apart from the SNES version developed simultaneously by Capcom. It sold in massive numbers and is easy to find complete, but its reputation as one of the Genesis's best licensed games is entirely earned.
