About This Game

The sequel expanded the licensed mech roster and tightened the 3D aerial combat that made the first entry work, pulling from a wider spread of classic anime properties. Still Japan-only, and FromSoftware's name on the box predates their Souls reputation by years — these games are a genuine curiosity in their back catalog. ACE3 tends to get the crown as the series high point, but ACE2 is a solid step up from the original.
